Nationwide Poverty Rate Drops, Oklahoma Poverty Rate Rises

More bad news for Oklahoma children. A new Census Bureau report shows that, while the rest of the nation has fewer people in poverty, Oklahoma has more. We're #7, and that's not good. High poverty rate, low expenditures on schools....yet Oklahoma teachers are expected to produce students who score near the top on national exams? Talk about wanting something for nothing....
